Legend of the Burning Sands occurs as collectable card game (CCG) published by 5 Rings Publishing Class action (FRPG, so the subsidiary of Wizards of the Coast) within 1997. It was a spin-by-product from either the earliest CCG Legend of the 5 Rings. Legend of the Burning Sands wwhen placed inside the equivalent fabricated globe as Legend of the 5 Rings, by using two or three characters appearing in two games. Each games got similar mechanics & emphasised the continuing plot line. A number one 3 Legend of the Burning Sands sets were freed under FRPG's experimental "Rolling Thunder" scheme, which emphasized little, regular releases of cards. A Rolling Thunder distribution mechanism proved to become unpopular, notwithstanding, thus a game was fictive hiatus.
